My wife and are are Hilton Honors Gold members and it was our delight to hear this exciting news! Like many other things nowadays you will be able to control hotel stays through your phone. Hilton has now made it available for Hilton Honors members prior to arrival for a booked stay choose their room from floor plans of available hotel room inventory. So now you can pick the exact room that you wish to stay in similar to how you can select your seat on a flight. On top of this you will also be able to book special requests for you room through the website or app. I have to give Hilton credit for being the first to do this and I am sure others will follow! Coming next year Hilton will also begin rolling out the ability for you to unlock your room with your phone! Man they are working hard to stay ahead of the competition!
