There a plenty of beautiful places to visit in Orlando but, you have really missed something if you haven't visited Leu Gardens. It is a lovely place to see various botanical garden settings that have exceptional beauty in the middle of an urban environment. The property has 12 different flora and garden environments such as a Tropical Stream Garden, Citrus Grove, Herb Garden, Butterfly Garden, Rose Garden and even a White Garden (Popular for weddings). The property is over 50 acres and has beautiful views of Lake Rowena along with miles of connected paths that take you through all the different garden environments on the property. The Leu House Museum is a restored historic property that has tours available on the hour and half hour (The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places). It is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Admission is $10 for adults and $3.00 for kids and the gardens are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday.
